Mindfulness reminds us to reconnect to the vivid nature of the present moment with less opinion and more heart, to access our capacity to respond to the changing currents of life from the depth of innate presence.
Elements of Mindfulness is an eight-week meditation & mindfulness course incorporating evidence-based practices designed to reduce stress, and promote gratitude, wisdom, ease, and resilience. You’ll learn mindfulness systematically, engaging in both formal meditation and informal practices supporting you to meet life’s demands, and connect with the joy of being human.
Each weekly session begins with a period of guided meditation, followed by an exploration of the challenges and joys of practice, relating it to a theme, as you gradually build mindful awareness into your life. You’ll share what you’re learning and experiencing, and hear about other participants’ journeys. Part of what makes this course so powerful is the community that grows among everyone in it.
Who Should Enroll
All are welcome. This course is open beginners and dabblers in meditation, and to meditation practitioners seeking to deepen practice.
- Weekly 75 minute virtual meetings enabling us to meditate together, and engage in small and large group discussion;
- Written content based on key aspects of mindfulness; daily practices to support you to integrate mindfulness into your life, and occasional emails to support you throughout your day;
- Access to high-quality guided meditation recordings for daily use;
- Additional, optional “drop-in” meditations throughout the week
